6Mar09Matthew and Lauren – February 28, 2009

It sure was dreary all day outside on Saturday. Luckily that doesnt really matter when you have an indoor wedding planned. Lauren and Matthew got married at the North Cleveland Church of God in the Dixon Chapel.

Our day started at Kenny Lee’s Salon where the ladies got their hair and makeup done. The rest of the day was at the church. The family did an amazing job with the church gym and by the time they were finished you couldn’t even tell you were in a gym at all. Fantastic job guys. Congratulations to Matthew and Lauren… Thanks for having me be part of your wonderful day!

9Feb09Noah and Anna – January 10, 2009

Still not used to typing or writing 2009 :)

I shot this wedding with Alison up in Nashville the weekend after we got back from Dallas Christmas break. It was amazing. The whole day was really fun. Anna got ready in the Hermitage Hotel in Nashville… right across the street from the War Memorial Auditorium and Legislative Plaza where the rest of the day’s activities took place. Even the rain that drizzled all day didnt put a damper on the mood.

Wedding was gorgeous with full lighting design. Anna’s Dad is part of a large “big band” that played the whole night. It made for lots of fun including some swing dancing and requests. Someone will have to help me with kind of car they pulled away in… I think it was a 42 something. Anyway thanks to Alison for inviting me and thanks to Noah and Anna for having Alison and I along!

5Jan09Jeremy and Jennifer – December 20, 2008

Jeremy and Jennifer had a wonderful Christmas wedding. It was a great day from start to finish despite the cold wind and rain :D

I started with Jennifer and her girls at my favorite Chattanooga hair salon Hair a Go Go. After that we all headed over Saints Peter and Paul church. I have to say I think this is one of my favorite churches in Chattanooga. It really is beautiful. They wrapped up the evening on the top floor of Chattanooga’s tallest building in Chattanooga, at the Walden Club.

As I mentioned in their engagement session post, Jeremy used to be the Alabama Mascot “Big Al” and as a special surprise to their guests they arranged for Big Al to make an appearance at the reception. It was fun watching the surprise unfold :)

18Dec08Mike and Carrie – December 6, 2008

Wow I cant believe I am this far behind… Sorry guys! Mike and Carrie got married at Hixson First Baptist. I think these two families are going to meld together well… Carrie’s brother performed the ceremony and at one point gave them the advice he had gathered from various members of each family and the guests were in full laughter! Thanks for having be you guys. I wish you all the best!

13Nov08Bill and Jennifer – November 6, 2008

Bill and Jennifer got married last Saturday out at Pot Point Cabin. It was gorgeous weather and a great location. All the fall colors were in full peak color. It really was beautiful.

My day started with the guys at Mimi’s Salon for pedicures. Bill surprised the men with the pedicures… they all admitted that it felt great and they might actually do it again sometime :) Then it was off to my favorite salon… Hair a go go. Then to Pot Point. Thanks for having me part of your day guys!
