I shot Josh and Lauren’s wedding Friday up in Cleveland, TN. Lauren and the gals had breakfast at Chick-fil-a, got their hair done at Style Masters Salon, make-up at Belk in the mall. Then they went to Candies Creek Baptist Church for the rest of the afternoon. Reception was at the Museum at Five Points in downtown Cleveland.

Peter and Whitney Carlson from Dove Photography in Nashville called me one day to see if I was available to second shoot for them… at the time I didnt know that not only would I be shooting in the foothills of the Apalachian Mountains or that it was Whitney’s sister getting married, but that they themselves would be in the wedding! How fun. So as it turned out I was to be second shooting with their regular second shooter Jen Odom.

It was a great day. Lots of fun and emotion. Everything was beautiful and the storm of the century that moved through did so without interupting ANYTHING. I am serious there were surfing waves in the swimming pool outside the reception :D Thanks for having me guys and congratulations to Jessica and Alex.

You may remember this couple from just a few weeks ago when I did their Engagement Session. They got married last weekend up on Signal Mountain at Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church. It was a beautiful day off and on and everything was just perfect. After the ceremony, everyone headed down to the Chattanoogan for the reception. I have to say I really liked the Chattanoogan. And did you see those cakes???? Tara’s Mom made those! She does it for a select number of weddings each year. Give me a call if you want her number :)

Our day started early at Shagedelic for Emily’s hair appointment. A couple of Emily’s friends joined her and worked out some final details over coffee and bagels. Then it was out to Silverdale Baptist for the rest of the preparations, group shots, the beautiful ceremony, and reception!

This was one of the most extravagant reception I have seen. The place was beautiful and no details were overlooked. Down to the aprons the caterers wore that were monogrammed with Robby and Jenny’s monogram. It was a fun night with lots of friends and family, drinks, fireworks, and a great band out of Atlanta are just a few highlights. Congratulations guys!
