4Jun09Ross and Taylor – May 30, 2009

What a great day! Ross and Taylor got married at Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church but our day started at my favorite salon… Hair a Go Go! Kristen Morten hooked Taylor up with her hair do.

The ladies then headed to a family friend’s house for a bridal lunch then to the church to finish getting ready. The guys showed up fully dressed and ready to roll :) The church was gorgeous as usual and Dr. Dudley did a great job.

Let the party begin. The reception was at the Double Tree downtown Chattanooga. What a party. The Standing Room Only Band kept the guests on their feet the whole night. Party went until 11:00 when the bride and groom were whisked away by a horse and carriage!

28May09Chuck and Donna – May 16, 2009

I had the great pleasure to celebrate with Chuck and Donna on their wedding day. Started out at Lulu’s in North Chattanooga, which was way cool. I had never been in before and I was pleasantly surprised. The rest of the day was spent at the Fairyland Club on Lookout Mountain. They have built a gorgeous new area for outdoor events. It was really a great location.

Anyway it was threatening rain all morning and just as the ceremony was in full swing, the sky opened up and it rained pretty heavy. It was kinda fun and I don’t think anyone minded. After all the party was moving inside anyway. The folks at the club put on a good spread and Sweet Georgia Sound kept the place full of great music.

Thanks for letting me be part of your wedding day guys!

16Mar09Andy and Evonne – March 7, 2009

I have sort of an idealistic view of wedding days. I always feel like they should be low in stress and high in joy. A true celebration if you will. I have obviously never been a bride and never planned a wedding ;) Evonne and Andy had the kind of day I think of when I think about weddings. They were both just filled with joy and love.

While Evonne was getting her hair done at Flirt which is a really cool place btw, Andy called and she lit up. When she hung up she said to her friends that were there with her “I am going to MARRY him!” It was fun to hear her so excited. Anyway thanks to Andy and Evonne for having me along for your celebration!

6Mar09Matthew and Lauren – February 28, 2009

It sure was dreary all day outside on Saturday. Luckily that doesnt really matter when you have an indoor wedding planned. Lauren and Matthew got married at the North Cleveland Church of God in the Dixon Chapel.

Our day started at Kenny Lee’s Salon where the ladies got their hair and makeup done. The rest of the day was at the church. The family did an amazing job with the church gym and by the time they were finished you couldn’t even tell you were in a gym at all. Fantastic job guys. Congratulations to Matthew and Lauren… Thanks for having me be part of your wonderful day!

9Feb09Noah and Anna – January 10, 2009

Still not used to typing or writing 2009 :)

I shot this wedding with Alison up in Nashville the weekend after we got back from Dallas Christmas break. It was amazing. The whole day was really fun. Anna got ready in the Hermitage Hotel in Nashville… right across the street from the War Memorial Auditorium and Legislative Plaza where the rest of the day’s activities took place. Even the rain that drizzled all day didnt put a damper on the mood.

Wedding was gorgeous with full lighting design. Anna’s Dad is part of a large “big band” that played the whole night. It made for lots of fun including some swing dancing and requests. Someone will have to help me with kind of car they pulled away in… I think it was a 42 something. Anyway thanks to Alison for inviting me and thanks to Noah and Anna for having Alison and I along!
