Matthew and Lauren - Engagement3Nov08

I met Matthew and Lauren down at Coolidge Park for their engagement session. They both came in from out of town for the session so we got a little bit of a late start. Still had a good time walking around the riverfront in Coolidge Park and Renaissance Park.

Caleb and Laura - October 25, 20083Nov08

I have known Laura’s mom through the internet for quite some time now so when she called and told me that her daughter was getting married I was thrilled!

Caleb and Laura had their celebration at The English Rose in downtown Chattanooga. It was perfect for their small family wedding. I want to say there was about 30 people there and all of them seemed to be family :) Thank you guys for letting me be part of your day. I wish you all the best!

Bill and Jennifer - Engagement Session31Oct08

Normally I try to talk couples into going somewhere other than the walking bridge for engagement sessions but Bill proposed to Jennifer on the bridge so I was happy to oblige :) This was a pretty session but lots of fun anyway. We started on the bridge and shot around the Hunter Museum for a little and then back on the bridge for the sunset. Thanks guys!

Meredith and Rusty - October 18, 200827Oct08

Rusty and Meredith got married last weekend! Her cousin did hair and makeup at the house and then we all headed down to Coolidge Park for some fun group shots. The ceremony was at the White Oaks Methodist Church in Red Bank which is just north of downtown Chattanooga. The reception was at was at one of their friend’s place called the Shack. It was not your typical reception site but it turned out pretty cool. Amazing what some white material and Christmas lights can do for a workshop to spruce it up :)

I know I am a little delayed, but I think these two are getting home from their honeymoon in Italy soon so I knew I had to get this slideshow up :) Click HERE to see it.

Ryan and Taryn - October 11, 200813Oct08

What a day! It was great from start to finish.

Alison Bynum drove down from Nashville to help me with this one. Funny story on that one… I was afraid I was not going to be able to shoot it since my son’s due date was October 7 and you just never know about those sorts of things. As it turns out Willem came early and it all worked out… well then Alison had the incredible once in a lifetime opportunity to adopt her second child and that opportunity was fulfilled on Tuesday with a 4 day old baby girl! So the tables were totally turned and she came anyway! Cant thank you enough Alison!

But back to the wedding. It really was an amazing day. We started with Taryn at my favorite local salon, Hair A Go Go. The ceremony and reception were both outdoors at the Lookout Lake Bed and Breakfast just a stone throw from my home here in Lookout Valley. Perfect weather, great venue, and a wonderful bunch of people.

Vendors:
