It was an honor to be part of Christina and Josh’s wedding day. They are a great couple and I was impressed with their commitment to their faith throughout the day. They had their first meeting in the church sanctuary Alison (who came down from Nashville to shoot with me) and I let them have a little time alone. When I poked my head back in to see if they were ready to head out for the group shots I noticed that they were kneeling at the steps of the church stage praying together. I love seeing young couples praying together on their wedding day! Anyway it was a a great day and I cant wait to see how these two continue in their lives together.

Wow this has been a busy week. I meant to get these engagement pictures posted about 4 days ago :)

I met them downtown and we made our way around the riverfront and up to the art district making a few stops along the way. David and Anya, you guys did a great job and I am looking forward to Saturday!

I am pretty sure Christy and Del thought of every single little detail for their wedding. From the obvious things like a beautiful dress from Monica’s and sweet pinstriped tux’s down to the attendant gifts and even a special cake for Christy’s mom ;) Everything was perfect!

We started around 11AM with Christy and the gals getting ready. Did some portraits when all the guys arrived and were ready. Ceremony was at 5:30 so the sun was just ducking behind some trees at the magnificient Laurelwood Farms. The reception was in the barn which has been remodeled just for such events. I was glad to have Rich along to give me a little assistance. I am sure I would have about died from dehydration if he hadn’t kept bringing me water… Thanks Rich.

How cute is this little girl? Those giant blue eyes and curly hair? This is why I love photography so much… I get to spend time with great people and cute kids during some of the greatest days of their lives helping them create lasting images of them!

Anyway this is Claudia and she is 6 months old. Her mother contacted me looking for some fun shots of her around the house with them and Claudia’s grammy. I had lots of fun trying to get Claudia to smile and laugh alas after all our efforts all we really had to do is strip her down for a bath. She apparently likes the bath quite a lot :) Thanks for having me over guys and I hope we can do it again some time.

I am really looking forward to Christy and Del’s wedding tomorrow at Laurelwood Farms. It is going to be amazing I am sure. I have seen some weddings on other photographer’s blogs that they shot there and man I can’t wait. I am sure to post a bunch of pics soon but I just wanted to express my excitement somewhere.
