10Aug07Photogroup Outting

Well it was HOT! To the tune of 95 degrees or so. Needless to say we didnt last very long. We did however brave the trek up wilder tower and got a great view of the area. Somehow there was little to no haze and you could see forever. I took some shot for a pano but I think it will be a little boring. I did however get these cool shots of a deer up close and personal. These are totally uncropped images with a 200mm zoom.

5Aug07Whirlwind to Chicago – Part 1

Well I am sitting in my brother’s apartment in downtown Chicago at 2AM Chattanooga time and what am I doing???? blogging sick I know. I just wanted to share a couple pics from today. I met up with my grandparents in Rockford for lunch today. It was great to see them and I was pleased that they seemed like they were doing pretty well. My grandma has had some health issues this year but she looks as if she is doing pretty well.

After that I met my mom and step-dad over at the Klem gardens in Rockford to visit for a while. It was good to see them and I really enjoyed the gardens as well. I couldnt get away from the weddings though.. They had two weddings in the gardens that we saw… one was finishing up when we got there and one was just getting rolling when we left.

Anyway there will probably be more pics here from the trip and probably a few at least will grace the photoblog but I have to go to bed so here are just a couple.

2Aug07Baby Mae – August 1, 2007

We have had this session planned for a long long time. I was supposed to go up to Dayton last month and I ended up getting very very sick and had to cancel. Hard to get everyone’s schedules worked out but we finally got it done.

Baby Mae is soo cute :) She was very content just sucking away on her fingers the whole night. We got her smiling a few times and caught a little kiss (ok a big kiss) once. Thanks to Jane, Stephen and Marianne for having Erin and me up there for dinner too!
