This is the day that my grandparents wed 62? years ago! That is pretty exciting! Have a great anniversary you guys.

I know it is getting late in the day but Happy Father’s Day to all you dads! I hope you have a wonderful Dad’s Day!

My first day at Williams Web went really well. I spent the first part of the day getting my computer set up there and all the wires hooked up and the such. Then I went to Sams Club with my boss and got a new monitor and chair. I spent the remaining part of the morning putting the chair together. Then I took Erin some lunch and came home changed clothes and went back to work. Most of the afternoon was spent in meetings, the rest was in “training” with my direct superviser. Got home from work around 7:00. It was a long day but good. I am still very excited about the whole thing!

Some of you know that I decided to quit Crye-Leike altogether on Monday. This allowed me some time to get things together and paint over at the new office and have a few days before starting. Tomorrow will be my first day of work at Williams Web. I am excited and I will let you know how it goes.

Last Tuesday, June 1st, I placed a call about a classified ad for a Web production designer. When I talked to the gentleman, he sounded interested so I asked if I we could get together for an interview and we decided on Thursday the 3rd. Things went really really well and they said they would call me back mid-week to let me know what they decided. Well I got an email yesterday offering me the job!

I stopped by there on my way home from work and talked over the details and accepted their offer. I will be working out my two week notice at Crye-Leike and then moving in over there. I will be doing Web design to start with and then at some point down the run it may turn into more responsibility and pay. I will have my own office, a brand new MAC and I have been promised a good chair! Right now my office is painted pink but they said that I could paint and they would provide the paint.
