		<description>I use AAs in my flashes only.  I have the AA insert into the battery grip too but I have heard these are for emergency type of uses as they will not last long but I have never tried it so I don&#039;t know.</description>

I have two Canon batteries that go in my 350D&#039;s extended grip, but there&#039;s also an insert for it that takes 4 AA batteries.  I&#039;ve never used it, but if you have then I&#039;m wondering how it compares to the standard batteries in terms of weight and performance?</description>
