I was reminded of the anniversary of the space shuttle Challenger tragedy yesterday while driving to work and listening to NPR. I was in 8 years old when it happened and have little to no recollection of the details or aftermath. NPR played a clip of Ronald Reagan’s speech and I was so struck by the speech. Hearing that audio clip helped me understand why Reagan was such a beloved President.
